Equivalent Retaliation Protocol
Equivalent Retaliation Protocol -- or "tit for tat" -- an aspect of game theory developed by Anton Rapoport in the 1980's.  It's a strategy for cooperative behavior in which an individual, at each stage, plays the action last played by another against it.
